Coach Charnell Evans

I am a professional figure skating instructor. I have a Bachelors in Psychology and a Masters in School Counseling. I am a fully licensed Licensed Professional Counselor as well as certified Special Education Teacher and School Counselor.  My skating started as a simple hobby and has evolved into a way that I can give back to the sport that has been nothing short of amazing. I have been skating over 30 years, coaching 17 years. Competed ISI Worlds, South Atlantic Regionals, Skate Dallas, Orange Blossom, Challenge Cup and 8 US Adult National Championships and 3 US Adult Sectional Competitions. I have performed in Nutcracker on Ice in various principle roles 15+ years in a row in Houston. I have directed 3 Nutcracker on Ice productions here in Austin. I have tested and worked with students of all ages from basic skills to adults. I have passed  my Pre-Gold/Junior Skating Skills and Freeskate. I coach jumps and spins, skating skills and choreography for all programs and exhibitions. Currently coaching my daughter who competes at the Pre-Gold/Junior level.
